Terms & Conditions Scare stories There are many rogue model and talent agencies out there and, rightly so, have been exposed by popular TV programmes like Watchdog and UK’s Worst... These companies make promises and charge up-front fees for portfolios and insist on you paying for their photographer. The simple rule is never ever pay money up-front for photographs or a portfolio. If an agency decide to manage you (which we don't, our marketing and online database do all the leg work) they will take your photo as a New Face to be sent to regular clients and your portfolio will be built up from shoots freebies or test shoots with friendly photographers (unpaid). Improve your chances Streetmodel currently costs nothing to join (we may need to start charging a small sign up fee to cover our time uploading model’s details in the near future but sign up now and you will get on our database scot free!) We just ask for a bit of your time filling in our form, in full! (we need to contact you via email and telephone quickly and we need your address to pay you! Castings come with short notice and jobs follow closely behind so make sure email and mobile/telephone details are kept up to date!). Rest assured your email and telephone numbers will not go outside our office! Provide is with A GOOD CLEAR COLOUR photograph of yourself (head and shoulders face on, plus a full-length shot if you have one). Make sure it is a true representation of how you look now! If your photo is distorted or your features are not clearly visible clients will not select you and you wont get work, or worse Streetmodel may reject your application! Black & white photos are more forgiving for beauty but remember Streetmodel clients want the real thing; REAL PEOPLE, REAL ALTERNATIVES, REAL GANGS, they need to see your features clearly, warts and all. Pretty faces are ten a penny and can be created in photoshop! Who can Join? Anyone can apply to join Streetmodel just fill in ALL your details on the attached form. Be as thorough as you possibly can - detailed information equals more results from client searches and greater prospect of work. Your photo must have no obstruction e.g. another persons face next to yours! Our acceptance of your application does not mean a promise of work. We cannot guarantee you will ever be selected. The agency has no control over what selections are made it just depends on whether your face fits the brief! Money Money Money If you are chosen to participate in a shoot, Streetmodel will send you a confirmation form which you will need to sign and return to our office. This will be binding and assures us you will attend the shoot on the specified day. The confirmation form will also state your fee and what the images are to be used for. Streetmodel will always pay you your money within 5 days of the clients funds clearing our account. How do I Charge You? You will need to send us an invoice to claim your money. We will email you a copy of a 'dummy' invoice to copy. Your invoice MUST include your name, address, the date the invoice is created, an invoice number of your choice (your initials and consecutive numbers for each invoice 1, 2, 3….) a short description of the job e.g. client/location/date of shoot and the job number (supplied by Streetmodel), the amount owing e.g. Fee £200 (- 20% agency commission at £40) = £160, Expenses (travel etc.) £35, Total amount £195. You should state your payment terms e.g. ‘To be paid within 28 days of invoice’ - however, this will be subject to when Streetmodel is paid. Any expenses must be supported by receipts and sent along with your invoice. Keep a copy of your invoice yourself and send the original copy to us. We will pay your balance within 15 days of receiving money from the client. IMPORTANT!!!!! If you do not attend the shoot for the full duration your fee will not be paid and you will be removed from the Streetmodel database.
